FAQ’S

Can I send a soap bar back if I am not happy?

Yes, of course. If you are not happy with one of our products, please send us an email and let us know. If it’s something we can fix, we want to know about it. Check out our return policy.

Can I use your soap on my face and hair?

Whatever makes you happy. Head to toe. Our gentle and natural ingredients have enough moisturizing properties to be used as you wish. They also work well on beards. We highly recommend Pine Tar bar for your hair, pine tar itself has many hair benefits. Also we will have shampoo bars coming out soon.

Why are you called 2 Kooks?

That’s a really good question.

How do I care for my soap bar?

The way you treat your cold process soap bar goes a long way.

It all begins with the way our soap is made. 2 Kooks uses the cold process soap making method. It’s a very delicate process. We do not use preservatives or any bar hardening chemicals to keep our soap from wasting away. Those chemicals are often very unsafe for our skin. That being said, it takes a little bit more to help extend the life of your soap. First off, try to keep the bar as dry as possible after use. For instance, don’t lay it down in water. Don’t leave it on top of another soap bar. Laying one bar on another won’t let the whole bar dry properly. We try to keep our bars upright as long as we can. Keeping it upright helps the large sides of the soap dry faster, thus extending the bar’s life. Using a soap dish will also help increase the life of the soap. The bottom line is, the faster the wet soap can dry, the longer it will last. Some folks dry the soap bar with a towel. Now that’s great soap maintenance!

What are you wearing?

You’re on the wrong website. Or maybe you’re not.

WHAT SIZE IS YOUR SOAP BAR?

We went BIG! because we didn’t want to go home. Our soap bars are around 5.5 oz. to 5.3 oz. It is hard to keep the weight one exact size when making handmade soap. These are handcrafted and hand cut. We do our best to keep it close.
